Just when Grandpa sent you a post about the coming of Spring last week he got hit with 10 inches of snow. That's a lot of snow for here in Virginia. Here is a picture of the snow out my front door.
On top of having to shovel snow. Grandpa had to figure out a way to cook dinner because the electricity went out. Our stove in the house operates on electricity so it didn't work. Thanks to your suggestions, I had ready a flash light and extra batteries. In order to cook dinner I found in my garage some old camping supplies and I set up a stove on my porch. Here is a picture of me heating up Turkey Soup for dinner. It was great; nice and hot! Fortunately the snow went away quickly so we could get on with Spring preparations.
Here is some news from all the cousins. Evan has been working on Lego projects with his Dad Uncle Scott. He's getting older now so his projects are getting more complicated. Here is a picture of him with a lego model of the Millennium Falcon, a star ship from star wars. Legos are great fun and I know you all enjoy playing with them. Take your time and follow the directions. Its a good way to learn about instructions and how things work. Keep all the pieces together in a box, so they don't get lost. Legos cost a lot of money and if you are neat and careful you will have them for a long time to enjoy.
The next picture I have to share is of Joseph all dressed up to attend the High School Musical. Hey, he's not in High School! Yes but his parents Uncle Gordon and Aunt Catherine have been working very hard with their students to put on the annual play. This years play was "Joseph and the Technicolor dream coat". Its a story from the Bible about a Boy named Joseph who grows up to become a leader in Egypt. In this picture Joseph is meeting one of the actresses in the play. I think he looks very shy, don't you? He does look very smart in his coat and bow tie.
I found on Facebook this picture of cousin Jessica in Florida. She has joined a group of cheerleaders and is learning how to do routines for sporting events. It looks like she cheers for the Tigers. She looks really cool in her cheerleading outfit. Maybe she will tell us how to do some cheers and how the Cheerleaders help the team to win.
My last picture is of Liam. On a snowy day he stayed inside and played with his Mom, Aunt Louise. Here is a picture of him wearing a silly Mustache. Liam likes to dress up as super heroes and ninja turtles. He also has a pirate outfit that Grandpa and Nanna brought him from Disney World. In this picture I think he looks like a French detective like the funny Inspector I saw in movies when I was a kid.
So Winston Has Another Question for you:
Winston enjoys watching television with Nana. He likes to sit on the bed when Nana is doing her morning chores. One of his favorite TV programs is "Too Cute Kittens" on the animal planet. When the kittens meow, he meows back at them. I wish I could understand Cat Language so I could tell you what they are saying to each other. I think he is getting fat from watching too much TV.
He would like to know if you watch TV and what your favorite program is?
Make sure to leave a comment below.
So that's all for now. Grandpa is busy cleaning up the yard outside so all the flowers can pop out of the ground in April. He misses you are very much and would love to hear from you. Love Grandpa
